When Gemma and Lola decided to break the rules and take their mobile phones into the maths examination neither of them imagined just how painful the consequences of this would be. When Gemma and Lola decided to break the rules and take their mobile phones into the maths examination neither of them imagined just how painful the consequences of this would be. Their teacher Mrs Stern caught them both and took them immediately to the HeadMasters office to be dealt with. They were given a choice of being expelled or getting the cane. Both girls chose the cane and Gemma was the first to be dealt with. Lola had been standing outside the office awaiting her turn to be punished and could hear her friend being punished. When Gemma left the office she showed poor Lola her welted bare bottom. Mrs Stern is pretty sure that Gemma was the instigator and feels that Lola should not receive quite so many strokes of the cane. The Head agrees and it is decided that she will get 12 of the best across her denim clad bottom. Lola is relieved not to be getting a lighter sentence but she hasn’t taken into consideration just how much the cane was going to hurt. After a few strokes she leaps from the desk and curses! This does not go down well and it is decided that she will get the same amount of strokes as Gemma. 18 on her jeans and then 18 on her bare bottom. Poor Lola tried very hard to stay in her position and take her punishment without any further swear words. The cane that Mrs Stern has chosen to use is a very wicked thin and whippy one which certainly leaves it’s mark. Each stroke is given with full strength and leaves a Lola close to tears and badly bruised and marked. This young lady will not be sitting comfortably for many days to come
