I've just gotten home from trying to go to a gig interview and you, my patient loving boyfriend, ask me how my day was because I clearly have a lot to vent about! I've just gotten home from trying to go to a gig interview and you, my patient loving boyfriend, ask me how my day was because I clearly have a lot to vent about! I start to pace back-and-forth as I vent, wearing a white crop top, a white lacey thong, and some white high heel pumps. I start talking about how yet another interview that I was going to was canceled and how it's already really hard to find work. I go on and on about this, as it's kind of a sore subject for me. While talking, I keep pacing and am also my phone, getting ready to maybe send a strongly worded email to the people who canceled on me. Little do I know, I'm actually pacing back-and-forth over a village of teeny tiny little people that moved in on my carpeted floor. You then get a nice up close view of my heels as they pace back-and-forth, back-and-forth, back-and-forth and you can occasionally hear one of the little people get crunched underneath them. I continue my pacing, with the venting occasionally making me forget about the phone that's in my hand. I continue my story about today's drama and the excuse I got for the cancellation was that there was too much traffic and I needed to reschedule with them, even though the event is tomorrow! That doesn't even make sense! I rattle on and on and then realize that my feet are getting tired, so I kick my white high heel pumps off before continuing my pacing barefoot. I continue to get on my phone and off again as I pace and complain. I vent about how it would be okay if it wasn't the third cancellation this month! I haven't made as much money as I'm used to because everything was closed down and now that things are opening backup, I'm excited to get back to work, but I keep getting canceled on! It's so frustrating and stupid! I apologize for how overly stressed out I am and you take the opportunity to ask if the pacing is helping me. I tell you that yes, of course the pacing is helping! You then get another up close view of my bare feet pacing back-and-forth over the village of tiny people that are less than one inch tall. My toenails are painted a dark red and they look lovely looking on my toes and feet that are casually crushing all the little people. After awhile of this, I sigh loudly and ponder on if I should hold off on sending that strongly worded email or even send it at all. I put my phone down, hoping that I can calm down enough and come back to everything later. I express a big thank you for listening to my stress ball complaining and decide to go about the rest of my day.
