My feet are looking rough even after an hour soak. I slip off my hippy sandals and walk around barefoot in the forest. My nail polish is chipped, my skin has scratches and bug bites, my heels are cracking, soles are rough and wrinkly from my morning soak in the springs. I hike up my sweatpants and wrap my flannel shirt tight on this chilly morning as I keep warm up in the early sunlight. I walk back and forth on the sand, grass, pine needles and cones.
