I only got in the hot tub once at our Florida rental house, and it was hard! The steps were in bad shape already, so I only used the bottom one when I got into the tub. It seemed to work okay, even if I was terrified to go crashing through the plastic. But when I got out, I had to use the top step. It made the LOUDEST cracking noise when I put my full weight on it. There's no doubt I broke it! Oops!!
