She did what any hopeful down on her luck scholar would do, she wrote an amazing essay and submitted it with her application to be a National Merit Scholar. She couldn't believe her eyes when the acceptance letter arrived! She literally jumped for joy. She did an incredible job at SBU! She was constantly studying, participating in extracurricular activities, and volunteering. She was happier than she had ever been, things were good, she had lots of friends and even a really nice helpful RA named Stacy. Everything was going perfectly, until she came home to find a note from Stacy on her door. She had been caught having sinful lesbian sex on school property, and would lose her scholarship if anyone found out. Maya begged Stacy to keep it a secret. She swore that she would do anything to stay out of trouble.
