Amanda's step mother, being the kind hearted woman that she is, goes to her step daughter's room first thing in the morning with a hot cup of tea and wakes her up for school. Amanda says she doesn't feel well and doesn't want to go to school this morning.

Wise to her ways, her step-mother knows that this is typical behavior for Amanda even two years ago when she was in high school. Amanda thinks she has a fever so her step-mom goes to the bathroom and gets the thermometer. Opening her mouth, she is told that it has to be in her bottom since she is drinking hot tea.
