Batgirl grabs the doorknob to enter and is zapped with 1000's of volts of electricity and crumples her to the ground. Oracle then tries, using her powers to turn the knob without touching it. It works and the two enter to find a glowing crystal in the center of the room. Dr Salorna enters and paces about them, explaining just why they're now laying on the floor, weak and helpless. The finally fall resting and when they awaken, they are tied to a chair! The good Doctor explains just how his glowing crystal works and why he needs the heroines to help with his research. Ever head-strong, Batgirl challenges him and he stupidly unties her to challenge her. Just when she thinks she's in the clear, the Dr pulls a and threatens Oracle. Batgirl, of course, stands down. The Dr backs off out of the room, but not before pushing Oracle towards Batgirl and then filling the room with gas! The two superheroines go down for the count and the evil doctor calmly goes back to his research, victorious!
