As they enter a home suspected of having a bomb capable of incinerating an entire city block, Stargirl scans the entire house with her X-ray vision and finds no samples of explosives but a careful search by Liberty Girl turns up a mundane explosive device ticking down the seconds until doomsday! Trying to disarm in fails, so at the last second Liberty Girl uncoils her magic lasso and wraps it tightly around the sticks of dynamite, neutralizing the explosive power by carefully shunting away the kinetic energy into another dimension.

As the two superheroines breathe a sigh of relief, Myron Finkelstein (aka THE COLLECTOR) returns home and angrily confronts the two super-intruders in his home. Realizing that one of his many weapons must have accidentally activated in his junk pile, Myron is both relieved that his step-mother's house isn't destroyed but also angry that these two superheroines invaded his privacy. Lecherously flirting with both women, Myron suggests that everyone gets naked and they can all make a pile on the living room floor. Disgusted by his sexual advances, Stargirl goes to punch out the mouthy villain but Liberty Girl reminds her partner that Myron is simply a rude civilian with no actual superpowers of his own... a single punch from Stargirl would him. Keeping her anger in check, Stargirl lowers her fists but glowers at Myron menacingly. As the two heroines are talking about what to do with the wannabe supervillain, Myron pulls forth a "deadman's switch" and threatens to blow up a nearby innocent civilian unless both women surrender to him immediately.

Not wishing to place an innocent life at risk (and after Stargirl confirms that the detonator is indeed real) both heroines willingly surrender. Myron orders Liberty Girl to wrap Stargirl in the magic lasso of truth and then the Collector interrogates the sexy blonde Kryptonian about how to neutralize her superpowers. After Stargirl reluctantly explains how kryptonite makes her weak, Myron goes on a hunch and has his pet ferret, Mr. Mumbles, go fetch a Greek ceremonial fishing net he stole from a museum the year before. As suspected, the green net has tiny pieces of kryptonite rocks woven into it, possibly woven into it from meteor fragments. As Myron orders Liberty Girl to untie the lasso from Stargirl and to wrap it around herself instead, the green fishing net immediately bathes Stargirl in a green aura of radioactivity when it's draped over her, sending the Girl of Steel dropping to her knees and moaning in despair. As the once-powerful Stargirl is now weak as a kitten, Myron turns his attention to Liberty Girl. the amazonian princess to remove first her bullet-deflecting bracelets and then her magical tiara and to toss them both aside, Myron then gets a little too close to the buxom crimefighter and Liberty Girl immediately grabs him with lightning reflexes and with her super-strength easily takes away his sidearm and levels Myron's own .45 at him, ordering him to untie her from her own magic lasso and to let them both her and Stargirl go.

Betting on the "superhero's code" that would never let a true superhero take the life of a villain in order to save herself, Myron refuses. After a tense standoff, Liberty Girl begrudgingly admits that she could never take a life and truthfully call herself a champion of justice anymore. She angrily hands the weapon back to Myron and the Collector rewards her generosity and nobility by snatching away her golden girdle of might, the only power item Liberty Girl still had left. Now without ANY superpowers of weapons, the helpless amazon awaits Myron's last decision as to what to do with her. Who will save Stargirl and Liberty Girl now?

This clip is for lovers of magic lasso interrogation, net entrapment, kryptonite weakness and helplessness, displays of superpowers (X-ray vision), a debelting, depowerment scenarios, two great scenes with takedown spray (used to subdue unruly superheroines) which leads to their eventual capture and submission.
