Trapped in the now-overgrown lush primoirdial jungle that used to be the Madison Heights development project, Stargirl (played by the ever-enchanting Muse Malone) struggles to find a way to escape the 1km wide 'quantum filter dome' that is purposely shielding her from the sun's empowering yellow rays. As her various superpowers each abandon her one by one, Poison Oak (played by the sinisterly sweet Jessica Nova) taunts the powerless superheroine and says she will hunt her for sport. She also tells Stargirl that she has left her a weapon with only one shot left in it, to be used "for emergencie...

Trapped in the now-overgrown lush primoirdial jungle that used to be the Madison Heights development project, Stargirl (played by the ever-enchanting Muse Malone) struggles to find a way to escape the 1km wide 'quantum filter dome' that is purposely shielding her from the sun's empowering yellow rays. As her various superpowers each abandon her one by one, Poison Oak (played by the sinisterly sweet Jessica Nova) taunts the powerless superheroine and says she will hunt her for sport. She also tells Stargirl that she has left her a weapon with only one shot left in it, to be used "for emergencies." Taking this to mean that the weapon should be turned on herself to end her life if it looks like Poison Oak and her horrific plant monsters are going to win, Stargirl dashes off into the thick brushes and high grass of the jungle.

Trying to contact the league through her belt-communicator, Stargirl discovers that the quantum-filter is cutting out radiowaves and communications as well as the yellow part of the visible-light spectrum. Eventually putting her mind to work on the problem, Stargirl discovers the location of the weapon but is ambushed by Poison Oak before she can put her newfound armament to use. Captured, Stargirl herself springs a little trap on Poison Oak and manages to buy herself enough time to make a quick getaway on foot. Retreating back to the main house, Stargirl finds the controls for the quantum filter but doesn't have enough technical expertise in quantum physics to understand how to safely deactivate the energy grid. Instead, she decides to go 'old school' and deactivate the device using a time-honored tactic that has always proven successful in the past... brute Will Stargirl save the day and defeat Poison Oak, or is she doomed to become the vile villainess' love slave, to be forever mind-controlled by her arch-enemy's toxic lipstick that can put anyone under a mesmerizing trance?
