Rose is a woman with a problem. After her entire family was eliminated by a powerful crime organization called the 100, she has been trying to stay alive. The meek, nerdy, mild-mannered Rose is a spandex-wearing pacifist, a purist, and a dreamer. A shy, withdrawn redhead who wouldn't hurt a fly.
Thorn is a woman with a problem. After her entire family was eliminated by a powerful crime organization called the 100, she has been trying to get revenge. The wild, sensual, aggressively-angry Thorn is a spandex-wearing vigilante. A hero, and a villain. A dangerous anti-hero who watch the whole world burn just to get revenge on the 100.
The problem is... they are both the same woman, inhabiting the same body.
STORY :
Rose awakens from a chemical-induced takedown to find herself on the floor in a strange house, wearing boxing gloves laced tightly into place. She is wearing a green, shiny, halter-style spandex leotard with a wide black shiny vinyl belt. She is not wearing pantyhose or boots, but she is still wearing her eyeglasses. Her smartphone and car keys are missing, and there is no sign of her friend, Doctor Kincaid. Even worse, the special bracelet that she always wears which gives her a constant supply of psycho-inhibitor chemicals has been tampered with and damaged, meaning that anything could happen and Rose could have one of her famous "blacking out" fits.
Into the room walks the renegade warrior from Paradise Island known as Dalma, the dark amazon known to the world as the evil version of Wonder Woman, Dark Wonder.
Dark Wonder is not happy.
"I challenge you to a boxing match! Being Wonder Woman's friend, I know that if I beat up her ally, the sweet-hearted and loving Rose, that it will pain Wonder Woman so much that it will haunt her day and night! Wonder Woman will never get a night's rest knowing that her pacifist friend paid the price for her own arrogance!" says Dark Wonder.
"But I don't believe in doesn't solve anything!" insists Rose.
Dark Wonder chuckles, and puts up her own red boxing gloves. "Sure it doesn't!"
A vicious fight ensues, with Dark Wonder beating the living snot out of poor Rose. Uppercuts, abdomen blows, and c-busts abound. Numerous blows to the midsection, and numerous blows to the face and upper body as well. Rose tries to defend herself without fighting back, but with her amazonian strength and speed Dark Wonder easily can overcome Rose's simple defense techniques and drive hom punch after punch with savage intensity and righteous fury!
Rose starts to cry, and whine, and tries her best to stop Dark Wonder. She tries a few punches of her own, but they are so lacking in power and skill that she can't even bring herself to make full connection because she doesn't want to hurt anyone in the process.
Dark Wonder punches Rose in the face, and in the breasts, and in the crotch. Again, and again, and again.
Finally, beaten down and unable to fight back, Rose is punched so hard in the stomach that her belt shatters under the weight of the furious blow, and struck so hard in the face moments later that her eyeglasses shatter and she is knocked senseless and backwards onto the chair behind her. Now unable to see, Dark Wonder delivers fresh blow after blow on the blinded, beltless Rose. Dark Wonder was going to use her evil lasso of magic to bind Rose to her dark will using the magic of Hecate, but the magic lasso isn't even necessary now, it looks as though Rose is going to crumple and surrender any moment now!
A few moments later, and Rose is beaten up so badly she slumps to the ground, absolutely insensate. Dark Wonder walks away, satisfied that when Rose is taken away in an ambulance, that Wonder Woman will hear the news about Rose being put in intensive care and will be devastated.
What Dark Wonder does NOT see when she walks away is a weird green and pink light that engulfs the gasping, delirious Rose. An aura of transformative energy that turns her from meek, mild-mannered Rose into a darker version of Rose. A deep-voiced superhuman vigilante is now born, a woman who will let the entire world burn in order to feed her insatiable thirst for revenge against her aggressors. This woman... is no longer Rose! She is now.... Thorn!
Thorn gets up and grabs Dark Wonder when she returns back to the room to check up on pummeled little Rose. Thorn (unlike Rose) has super-strength and super-stamina, and is a world-class fighter. The payback on Dark Wonder is well-deserved. The evil amazon warrior gets punched in the chin, across the tits, in the stomach, in the cunt, and gets a variety of haymakers, jabs, and uppercuts. She is c-busted hard, and she reels from the pain.
Dark Wonder tries to fight back, but she's so used to beating up non-super people that she's a bit out of practice beating down people who have equal strength and training. Dark Wonder takes blow after blow across her body, and after a few savage punches land across her face, she starts to get a little disoriented and foggy. Thorn (who has the quasi-mystical superpower to instinctively find any person's inner weakness) goes for the waist and after some savage punches she actually manages to smash Dark Wonder's magical belt of amazonian strength from her waistline. This not only reduces Dark Wonder's strength down to regular human levels, but losing the silver belt also deprives the amazon of her magic lasso as well, further weakening her position in the fight.
Beltless and beaten, Dark Wonder tries to fight back but she gets a terrible payback and soon is whimpering and insensate. Without her lasso or super-strength, the bully has now been bullied!
Thorn leaves, but not before spitting on the defeated Dark Wonder and swearing revenge on everyone who tries to attack her and leave her hospitalized. Thorn walks off haughtily into the night, still unaware of her dual persona. Each side of this coin strangely unaware that the other person exists.
