STORY :

Diana Prince is on the phone with her boss at the IADC, Steve Trevor. Steve is about to make a high profile arrest and he wants to make sure that Diana sees his momentous career move on video. Unfortunately, as soon as Steve goes to make the arrest he is almost immediately stunned by an enemy attack and drops to the ground defeated in mere seconds. Diana, watching the whole event via live video, is to spin and transform into Wonder Woman and try to rescue her boyfriend before anything even worse happens. Fortunately, Diana's step-sister is also on hand and she likewise spins and transforms into Wonder Girl to assist.

Wonder Woman and Wonder Girl, arriving at the trouble site, are held at bay by the devious Dr. Remorae. He threatens Steve Trevor's life unless the two amazons surrender and so they do so, albeit reluctantly. Dr. Remorae orders both superheroes to remove their magic bracelets so that they'll be defenseless against gunfire, and they both comply, tossing their metal armguards into a pile on the floor. Now defenseless against Remorae's firearm, both women are into doing what the doctor says, Wonder Woman even being into raising her arms up in a sign of universal surrender.

Unfortunately, Remorae orders Wonder Woman to detach her magic lasso from her power belt and to bind Wonder Girl with it. Interrogating the young er amazon, Remorae asks her what the location of Paradise Island is, and how to make the two superheroines helpless and powerless. Knowing that Wonder Girl could not resist against the magic lasso's mesmerizing pull for very long, Wonder Woman purposely 'drops' the lasso in mock outrage midway through the interrogation and demands that Dr. remorae show them mercy. As the amazon princess and the evil scientists bicker it out, Wonder Girl deftly kicks the magic lasso (now laying on the floor, forgotten) out of sight under a nearby couch.

Their argument resuming, Dr. Remorae wonders what happened to the missing magic lasso and instead has Wonder Girl hand over her magic lasso when Wonder Woman's cannot be found. Realizing the cycle is about to begin over again, as the interrogation starts Wonder Woman (even though she's defenseless without her magic bracelets) tries to lasso Dr. Remorae's sidearm, with Wonder Girl rushing in to overpower Remorae in the meantime. The ploy works, and Wonder Woman deftly disarms the devious doctor with the magic lasso. Unfortunately, disaster befalls the situation when Wonder Girl accidentally shoots Dr. Remorae with his own sidearm by mishandling the weapon. Mortally injured, Dr. remorae shuffles off of the mortal coil, collapsing to the ground, now fully expired.

What will the two amazons do now that one of them has committed a capital offense on an unarmed, defenseless opponent? To be continued!
