STORY :
Wonder Woman frantically looks for a way to salvage the situation after Wonder Girl has accidentally shot and terminated Doctor Remorae with his own weapon. She considers destroying the evidence but ultimately decides against it because she would refuse to lie under oath in a court of law. Instead, she chooses to "throw away' the weapon used in the attack by hurling it with all of her amazonian might into low orbit. As she leaves to go outside she is suddenly taken aback by the arrival through the doorway of... DOCTOR REMORAE???
Without hesitation, Dr. Remorae (somehow alive?) deftly snatches the out of Wonder Woman's astonished hands and turns the weapon on Wonder Woman herself. WW raises her wrists to defend herself but... she and Wonder Girl still do not have their feminum bracelets back, so the gesture is a hollow one as she is still defenseless. Remorae laughs at Wonder Woman's easy defeat and orders her to unclip her golden lasso of truth and tie herself up with it and toss the other end of the lasso to himself. Wonder Woman reluctantly complies and now with the magic lasso in his possession he orders Wonder Woman to reveal all her secrets so that he can make her helpless and take her prisoner.
Wonder Woman (straining against the lasso the entire time) is to admit her golden tiara gives her the power of telepathy and serves as a boomerang weapon. Remorae orders her to hand it over. WW then is to say that her golden belt is the source of all her might and so he orders her to unsnap it from her dainty waistline and to turn it over. She removes it and hands it over to him. Now with no power items on, she's as vulnerable and as helpless as any other mortal woman. Remorae laughs and orders her with the magic lasso to fall resting. Wonder Woman struggles to resist but without her magic tiara protecting her mind she starts to slowly succumb to the irresistible pull of the magic lasso and begrudgingly slumps to the ground and starts to fall resting, barely conscious and aware of her surroundings.
Seeing that Wonder Woman stubbornly refuses to submit fully to rest, the evil doctor pulls forth a medicinally-soaked damp cloth and slaps it tightly over Wonder Woman's nose and mouth, creating an airtight seal. Wonder Woman weakly struggles against him, but without super-strength and with her willpower greatly diminished by the lasso's mind-numbing effects she cannot last long, and her eyes flutter slowly closed. As she falls backwards onto the floor with a resounding thump, Dr. Remorae laughs at the "princess of the amazons" and how easy it was to capture and depower and defeat her totally.
A long while later, Wonder Girl arrives in the room, eager to wrap up their adventure. She panics when she sees Wonder Woman laying on the ground, powerless and obviously resting. As she goes to assists her big step-sister Dr. Remorae whirls on her with his but Wonder Girl already has her magic lasso whirling above her head. She is to abandon her attack through when she sees that Dr. Remorae has the initiative and she is still missing her feminum bracelets. to drop the magic lasso to the floor, Wonder Girl is also vexed when Dr. Remorae knows all about her golden belt around her hips and orders it discarded. Now truly without any powers, the also-helpless Wonder Girl is tossed a pink cloth and ordered to place the damp swatch of cloth over her own nose and mouth. One whiff tells the young crimefghter that a minute of exposure will most likely put her right to rest, so she tries to stall for time. Will her attempt at subterfuge succeed? To Be Concluded!
