Wonder Woman has arrived in Germany in 1942! She is here to rescue her boyfriend, Major Steve Trevor, and she is NOT taking any backtalk from the German High Command! After confronting the evil Dr. Remorae, she demands to know where Steve is being kept, and a very special game of "gyrojets and bracelets" begins where the evil scientist fires micro-missiles at the young amazonian beauty . As the tiny heat-seeking rockets whistle in, Wonder Woman expertly deflects all eighteen missiles using her magical bracelets, detonating them prematurely. Dr. Remorae then tries using a special device which will neutralize all of WW's power items and will also paralyze her for a short period of time. As the disruption cannon fires, Wonder Woman brings her bracelets together to make a deflection shield and she reflects the paralyzing ray back on Doctor Remorae himself, paralyzing him with his own fiendish weapon!
Twirling her magic lasso above her head, Wonder Woman uses her magical lariat on the devious doctor to get the truth , Wonder Woman discovers from Dr. Remorae that Steve is actually relaxing in Paris on a paid vacation for the week. The whole rumor about Steve being captured behind enemy lines was a ruse to lure WW into coming over to Germany! As Wonder Woman realizes that she's been led into a trap, our amazonian heroine is jumped by a henchman named "Brute who has been given powerful steroids and strength-enhancing chemicals in order to put him on match with Wonder Woman's own amazing power levels!
Wonder Woman struggles to defeat Brute but although she is the better warrior she is woefully unprepared for being grappled by such a powerful juggernaut! Caught in his grip, she stomps her boots down trying to smash his feet, but Diana is given both a bearhug from behind and then a front-facing bearhug, both of which crush her young body and drive the air from her lungs. Worse, after she is set back down the giant beast wastes no time in pulling off first one, and then BOTH of Wonder Woman's magic bracelets , leaving her exposed and vulnerable to gunfire! Her golden belt of strength is the next thing to go , and as it is ripped from her slender waistline, her superpowers fade away, leaving her an ordinary woman pitted against a hulkasaurus rex!
Depowered and vulnerable, the gasping and injured Wonder Woman is humiliated further as Brute takes Wonder Woman's soft leather boots and puts leg-cuffs on both of her ankles, leaving her shackled and captured. Her wrists also get manacled, leaving Wonder Woman incapable of escape even if she hadn't lost all of her amazonian gifts. Captured and weak, Wonder Woman is put to rest through nefarious means, being given a sample swatch of red fabric which has been soaked in "something tired and sinister" which quickly robs Wonder Woman of waking consciousness and leaves her collapsed on the concrete floor, insensate.
Hours and hours pass, and night comes to the dungeon. Wonder Woman remains on the concrete cell floor, still shackled and powerless , incapable of either waking consciousness or of the godly power granted by her golden belt to break her restraints and to escape. Her lasso of truth and her bracelets of deflection also taken, all of her "wonder weapons" being confiscated leaves WW in a dubious bargaining posture. Can she get free and escape? Who is this "Baron Blitzkrieg" that everyone keeps mentioning? Tune in, and find out!
