After over a year of fruitless searching both women finally accept internships at a mysterious consulting firm in Roanoke, Virginia known as the J. Row Corporation. Now they work long hours and perform mostly menial tasks for no pay. During their breaks they often discuss whether or not their stint in the J. Row offices will prove to be a worthwhile addition to their resumes. Paris thinks not. "We should just quit." she says to Emily one day in exasperation after she has spent all morning filing hundreds of documents. "All we have to do is walk out the door." Before Emily has a chance to respond an armed assailant strides into the room and barricades the corridor behind him with a remote-controlled security shield. Evidently the two interns will not be leaving anytime soon. Over the course of the next hour their captor binds them with tight, white ropes and affixes various gags to their beautiful, indignant faces. He ultimately strips them naked and leaves them to writhe around on the floor.
