Bilingual Japanese-American actress Akira Lane arrives at an audition. A wardrobe stylist decks her out as a rock star groupie. Before commencing her reading Akira greets her audience in both Japanese and English. She then recites a single typewritten line of dialogue off of a sheet of paper.
