Through dense trees John Law espies smoke, bubbles, and three stooped figures ablaze with psychedelic ash. With trembling hands Law manages to jot a few impressions inside a well-worn notebook:

"Brew on," says one. "Use no caution,
Once these frothy bubbles are gone,
Our creation shall enthrall them!"

Loud laughter, entirely without mirth, cracks through the forest as Law ducks behind a poplar. Before beating a swift retreat the detective sees, or thinks he sees, a slim...

Before beating a swift retreat the detective sees, or thinks he sees, a slim figure with flowing blonde hair jump out of the witches' cast iron kettle. "They'll stick me in the loony bin if I tell anyone about this." Law mutters whilst cranking the engine of his old jalopy. The car roars to life with unusual vigor, almost as if validating Law's very words.

Years later a fellow investigator inquires about the Black Forest trip. "You were tracking a cult or a witches' coven or some such thing." the colleague prods Law. "Remember that? There was talk all over town about some old hags casting spells on people but they vanished into the forest. No one saw them for a long time but now they're back with a stacked broad who's seducing half the neighborhood men, turning them into sex slaves." Law unties his tongue long enough to ask just one question. "This stacked broad.." he stammers. "Is she about 5 foot 5 with long, blonde hair and muscular legs?"
