I hesitantly get into a very cold bath. I only used cold water to fill up my tub and once most of my body is in it I begin to shiver and my teeth chatter. I lie down in the cold water letting it get up to my neck. I sit up and the cold air in my bathroom (I have the window opened a crack and it's only around 30 degrees out) gives me chills. I don't know what's worse - being submerged in the cold water or having the cold air hit the parts of me that are wet but not under water. I hesitantly get into a very cold bath. I only used cold water to fill up my tub and once most of my body is in it I begin to shiver and my teeth chatter. I lie down in the cold water letting it get up to my neck. I sit up and the cold air in my bathroom (I have the window opened a crack and it's only around 30 degrees out) gives me chills. I don't know what's worse - being submerged in the cold water or having the cold air hit the parts of me that are wet but not under water. I remain upbeat but to be honest I was dreading this part - I take my hair down and put my head under the cold water. I come up and am so cold, I try to cover myself but having my hair soaking wet and dripping down my body makes everything worse! I stand in the tub in front of the window. The cold air hits my wet hair and cools it, making me even colder. I sit back down in the tub and then put my head back in the water. I come up shivering and shaking, my words mumbles from my teeth chattering. I stand in front of the window again, just shaking and shivering and reacting any time there's a wind gust. Then I take a large jug and pour cold water over myself 3 times, reacting to the cold water mixed with cold air. I get out of the tub, no longer able to bear the cold, needing to get out of the cold water and away from the open window. I shiver and shake as my wet hair drips all over me.
