So it happens that you stubb your toe on someting heavy (furniture or something like that...). Your toe hurts terrible and you DON'T take off that sock (important!), because you just KNOW that your toe ist broken. You are still in a hurry to leave the house (maybe for a date?) and you try to wear a shoe on your injured foot - which makes your toe hurt even more.
