Roxie has been working her tail off at the office in the hopes of getting a much deserved promotion. Her boss has entrusted her with a big business dinner with a potential new client. Returning home from the office, Roxie needs to grab a couple things before she head out again. Roxie has been working her tail off at the office in the hopes of getting a much deserved promotion. Her boss has entrusted her with a big business dinner with a potential new client. Returning home from the office, Roxie needs to grab a couple things before she head out again. Roxie returns home and heads upstairs to grab her file but about halfway up she stubble's and twists her right ankle. Roxie clutches her ankle in pain, then tries unsuccessfully to slip off her right shoe and rubs her right ankle for a moment before finally slipping off her right shoe. After a couple more moments of rubbing her ankle Roxie slowly scoots down the stairs, now at the bottom of the stairs the blonde removes her left shoe, stands and tries to take a step. Unable to bear much weight Roxie makes her way to the couch having to hop. Sitting down, Roxie crosses her right leg over her left and gently massages her right ankle talking to herself about not having time for this. Roxie then stands up and tries to walk again, unable she sits on the couch and crosses her right leg over her left and leans back to relax. Roxie sits up remembering her crutches from her last ankle injury, hops and to closet. Roxie carefully crutches, grabs her left high heel and heads back to the couch. Roxie slips on her left heel, stands and practices crutching but sits back down on the couch as crutching wearing a high heel is too difficult. Roxie hops and over to stairs, sits down and carefully scoots up the stair to her bag and retrieves her phone and shoes (flats). Roxie calls her boss to explain what happened so the client will be aware she is running late and she makes her way back down the stairs, gathers her things and her thoughts. Roxie slowly makes her way toward the door, hoping she can handle the pain for a few hours as she crutches away.
