Monica has been invited to a New Years Eve party at a friends house. There will be lots of people there including a guy she likes. She puts a sexy party dress on, stockings and her favourite red designer high heels. When she gets to her friends house at around 9pm, the party is in full swing. She gets a drink and looks around to see if the man she likes is there. He is, but is dancing and hasn't seen her. After a few sips of her drink she decides to start dancing. Steadily she works towards her man and soon she has caught his eye. He moves over to her and the pair dance together through several songs. As time goes by though, Monica is struggling to continue dancing. Her designer heels are very high and very tight and her feet are her. She desperately wants to keep her heels on and impress her man and so she suggests they go and get a drink. If I can find a seat and give my feet 10 minutes rest I'm sure I can keep going, she thinks. They get drinks but there are no seats free anywhere and so Monica must continue to stand on her aching feet. She does all she can to relieve the pain, tilting back on her heels, tipping her feet sideways, even slipping out of her heels when her man isn't looking. Finally, she decides to excuse herself and go to the bathroom. She is practically hobbling in pain as she goes in and locks the door. Sitting down at last, she carefully eases first one foot and then the other out of its high heel, moaning with relief as she does so. She then spends 15 minutes massaging her feet. Eventually ready to slip her heels back on, she checks the time - it s now 11pm, still an hour to New Year. Looking around she spots her man and he has found them a couple of seats. Thank goodness she says to herself and makes her way over to him. She sits down and is pleased to see that he cannot take his eyes off her legs and feet. At around 10 minutes to midnight he finally persuades her to return to the dance floor. As midnight arrives she finally slips out of her high heels. That s it, I cannot stand in these heels any longer. She says. As she picks up her shoes her man gallantly decides to pick her up and carry her from the dance floor at the same time wishing her a happy New Year
