At 3'6" tall and 40 pounds, Tiny Texie is clearly our most petite researcher. In fact, she's almost the same height as one of our Chinese hot water bottle when fully inflated. Clearly, the thought of one of these exploding near Texie should be more frightening to her than anyone else. But since nearly all of the other women at the Lab have blown one of these to bursting, it was only a matter of time before Texie wanted to try it herself. She asked Alice to assist, in part because she is only 4'6", and has managed to blow several of these, often helping much bigger women. Alice encourages Texie to start it and do as much blowing as she is comfortable with, while helping to blow only as needed. Fortunately, Texie needed surprisingly little help, wisely moved away from the rubber "bomb" as it grew larger, and kept everyone entertained while she achieved what should be a world record for being the smallest woman to blow up a hot water bottle.
