Unfortunately, she is accustomed to people giving her small balloons to blow up, unaware that they often require higher pressures. So is it even possible to expand either of the samples we have? After struggling for a few minutes, Texie calls over to Alice to see if she can have any more success with the other sample. Both puff mightily on their rubber vessels, and while neither succeeds at expanding hers, Alice is able to diagnose a leak in Texie's. Alice then suggests that they attach the one viable one to the blowing tube, and both give it several hard tries using the tuba mouthpiece. The verdict? It's either too old and hardened, or too small. But it at least gave their abs and cheeks a good stretch-out!
