OK, not really. In fact, she is absolutely terrified, and insists on using the longest hose we have available. But to her credit, she manages to overcome enough fear to keep going, until the scene ends in a scream that dwarfs any sound the exploding hot water bottle may or may not have made. Does she succeed? Will she ever allow herself to be in the same room as a hot water bottle? Only time (and probably lots of therapy) will tell.
