Raven starts off strong, but Mia is a bit hesitant, and has trouble managing the backflow of air without a check valve. Once both women install their check valves, Raven continues to make steady progress until the balloon can take no more, which to her annoyance, comes in the form of a delayed pop. However, Mia continues to struggle. Does her new, fresh balloon have a hole that opens up only when it gets to a certain size? Apparently, Raven finds that Mia did not connect her check valve completely. Once this is fixed, Mia is able to get it considerably larger. But having worn herself down from all the futile huffing and puffing, she decides to accept Raven's offer to finish the balloon for her. This she accomplishes, albeit not without some effort, and another dreaded delayed pop! Looks like these two are going to need some remedial practice.
