She also has been tasked with trying a new adaptor that connects the hot water bottle to her blowing tube, which is slightly flexible, in an effort to absorb the shock of the explosion rather than transmit it to the plastic fittings, which often break.

So off she goes, puffing with all her might to get it to begin to stretch, and then continuing with the long slog ...

So off she goes, puffing with all her might to get it to begin to stretch, and then continuing with the long slog at slightly lower but still considerable pressure, as the vessel gets to enormous dimensions. Once again, she nearly forgets to put on her safety glasses, but remembers. Then, even closer to the time of the explosion, she decides that ear protection might be a good idea after all. Soon, victory is achieved!
