"Otaku"

(in Japan) a young person who is obsessed with computers or particular aspects of popular culture to the detriment of their social skills.

A lonely university student who self-identifies as an "Otaku" has only ever dreamt about any type of interaction with the opposite sex. Of course in the two-dimensional world, he was practically a god of sex himself. Indeed, he had spent many years trying to find a relationship, but after being rejected one too many times, he accepted his fate of being confined to only 2D sex.

But one day, a mysterious new girl joined ...

Of course in the two-dimensional world, he was practically a god of sex himself. Indeed, he had spent many years trying to find a relationship, but after being rejected one too many times, he accepted his fate of being confined to only 2D sex.

But one day, a mysterious new girl joined his class. She was of course like so many of the other girls, absolutely gorgeous. For him, it was just another girl he could merely dream about and lust over.

That is, until the very same girl confesses to him!

He couldn't believe it - he refused to believe it. Surely this was just some sick joke that was planned out to him even further. But the girl was cunning and made him an invitation he couldn't refuse: to meet her in a certain classroom after school.

As he was soon to find out, this was no ordinary girl, but a yandere, one whose love borders a psychotic obsession. Ironically, he had heard about this very same trope throughout much of his Otaku life, but never believed that they existed.

In the beginning, he was completely mesmerized by her, captured in total infatuation - after all this was the very first girl who had given him any sort of attention. But as his relationship with the girl deepened, he would begin to see the true dangers of dating a yandere.
