Aries Ackerman has brought an assortment of shoes to the laboratory to see which ones maximize her comfort and control of the pedals of a stickshift car. She begins by working each of the pedals in a pair of flat-heeled thong sandals, then moves on to some flat-heeled T-strap sandals, followed these with another pair of thong sandals with only slightly higher heels than the first.
