In her final performance for MMP, Leira takes this story that began life as a custom project to tell you the tale of the Athlete who is so determined to set a world record that she foregoes safety and precautions and tries to place herself in a precarious situation when she determines that the pool’s drain pump mechanism will shut off just at the right time for the record to be broken. She removes the drain cover and places her foot in there to keep her in position but the grip is much stronger than expected and she is in the battle of and for her life.
