In clip VI, Breese stares at the huge diamond ring we have placed on her finger. As she does, she finds she becomes mesmerized on the huge crystal and is unable to look away. That starts Breese's demise as a human as all of her own thoughts, mind and will are drawn into the crystal leaving her a mindless shell staring into space.
