In clip V, Holly finds that she is excited to be wearing such a shiny ring. It seems as she just can't seem to stop looking and admiring it.

And Holly seems to not notice the effects that the ring are having on her ability to concentrate. She finds a simple task of counting to 10 becomes difficult as she stops and admits losing her place while counting. It seems that the ring is having a real effect on her IQ.
