Well after ALL those prior attempts I actually got the Renault to run! Not well it has to be said...but it ran!

I had been to work for the day wearing exactly what I am depicted wearing here, the only difference being I wore my closed toe court shoes for work. I was actually genuinely keen to have a go at trying the Renault again as it had been so close to running the last time. So, I organised for my friend to come round, I put on my black fluffy heels and got in to the car full of expectation.

Nothing. It absolutely refused to start, it wouldn't even try! We recorded me ...

Well after ALL those prior attempts I actually got the Renault to run! Not well it has to be said...but it ran!

I was actually genuinely keen to have a go at trying the Renault again as it had been so close to running the last time. So, I organised for my friend to come round, I put on my black fluffy heels and got in to the car full of expectation.

Nothing. It absolutely refused to start, it wouldn't even try! We recorded me cranking from the passenger side window, showing more of me than is usual before my friend then came round and stood at the drivers door and did the same. At the same time I had a camera looking at may feet on the pedals and the video shows all three angles, one after another. My friend could only give me a short time that night so she then had to leave, convinced that I'd been fibbing about the car nearly starting!

I had grown Devil horns by that point and was absolutely determined to get it to at least try and start, so I carried on with just the camera down at my feet running. 5 minutes of solid cranking and pumping....

And then....THEN....it coughed! At the 10 minute mark on the video it gave a little cough....then again....and again. It was a further 4 or 5 minutes of cranking and spluttering before it then chugged into life. Not well it has to be said; I couldn't have driven it running that badly and it did then stall. But it ran!

This is quite a long video but two thirds is from the same camera viewpoint, looking at my feet. I have therefore priced it lower than usual....call it my "Black Tights Friday" offer if you will!!
