This one was filmed a few weeks ago on a Saturday night, prior to the clocks going forwards here in Britain heralding our lighter nights. I had planned to go for a much needed (and rare!) night out with friends....but of course, my Ford had different ideas. This one was filmed a few weeks ago on a Saturday night, prior to the clocks going forwards here in Britain heralding our lighter nights. I had planned to go for a much needed (and rare!) night out with friends....but of course, my Ford had different ideas. It has been reasonably reliable of late, due in part I'm sure to me using it regularly. However on this particular occasion it let me down; having initially started up fine the engine then stalled. Of course (being the diligent cranking model that I am) I set my phone up on my trusty flexi-tripod and tried again. The engine started up fine once more before cutting out....and that was it. Incessant and utterly frustrating cranking with no signs of life from thereon in.

My Ford happens to have red coloured lights in the footwell and I have tried to record my feet on the pedals using only the red light before now. This therefore is a further attempt in the same vein; what you might call a "pedal-cam". The camera doesn't quite pick up as much light as the naked eye does but it still achieves what I set out to do. I won't ruin the allure of the video by telling you all what I was wearing; see if you can work it out :-)
