She sees a key and catches it between her toes and tries to flick it into her hands but she misses and makes it even worse. so it looks like she will have to stay put until her boss comes back and that might be a few hours yet. so Denise will just have to wait and she isn't really going to struggle too much longer as the handcuffs are biting into her wrists and it's very uncomfortable. poor Denise.
