Daryn Red is home alone as she hears a knock on the front door. A gentleman from the gas company tells Daryn that he is investigating a gas leak in the neighborhood. She lets him in and as soon as she turns her back on him she is put out and tied up on the floor. He carries her over his shoulder to his van. Daryn wakes up bound, blindfolded and tied to a chair. She is informed by her captor that her step-father locked up his step-brother and this was his revenge. He goes to collect the ransom and she manages to escape.
