When he broke in, he expected to find the lady of the house all alone. But there was no sign of her. Then as he was looking around, he found her outside in the backyard smoking a cigarette. He couldn't take any chances. He had to grab her and bring her back inside. So he snuck up on her and grabbed her from behind.
