Worst of all, she doesn't even try to hide the fact that she's in clear violation of the rules of the academy. She's lounging on the porch of her student lodgings when she's supposed to be tacking up with the rest of the students. She's dressed inappropriately, she smells faintly of "herbal refreshment" and her attitude is atrocious. She rolls her eyes, mimics her teacher and makes no effort to straighten up or take her words seriously. What she doesn't realize is, the game is up.

Standing behind her with her eyes trained on the rest of the farm, Ms. McReese withdraws a syringe from her pocket. It's not immediately clear what's in it but it has a blue tint that resembles tranquilizer and when she sticks it in Sahrye's neck unexpectedly, the delinquent attempts to turn around in her seat and see what's happened. She's confused and feeling light-headed. Her vision blurs. She sees Ms. McReese standing with her hands on the rail, saying something that she can't make out. Hears students chattering in the distance and the birds overheard. Then her eyes roll back in her head and she's resting.

Unbeknownst to Sahrye, there's a room in the back of the student house that's been unused for years. It's accumulated dust and has been trespassed on several occasions by farmhands and former students looking to deface the walls with graffiti. Now the academy keeps it locked and uses it only for storage. Ms. McReese has her own sordid use for it on this occasion, and it becomes all too clear to Sahrye when she wakes up, bound and being take take a gag in her mouth.
