Tilly's found herself in a bind. A fellow journalist (from her office, no less!) has got hold of the big story before her, for once, and wants desperately to release it before she can beat him. Of course, he acquired it in no small part because of her. Reading her notes and getting to interview the candidate put him in exactly the right spot when the attempted attack occurred.
