Tom is tied to a chair, barefoot in his jeans and t-shirt with his hands tied behind his back, ankles bound, more rope pinning his chest to the back of the chair and he's been blindfolded and tape gagged too. He struggles against the ropes, trying futilely to free himself, to lift himself out of the chair, or even to reach his feet and untie them.
