Tomizana (Tomiko) hears that there has been a break in the jail. There is an escaped convict (Caroline Pierce) hiding out in a house. She has gotten rid of the people that lived there and has set up camp there. Tomizana approaches the house with caution, but she doesn't know that she has walked into a trap. Her magic fails her and she is attacked from behind. She is sent to rest. Her boots are removed as well as the rest of her costume. She is tied up and left to struggle.
