Emily Torvea hobbles in and regrets wearing the sexy ankle strap high heels. Unstrapping them, she gingerly strips one shoe off and tries to remove it without touching her bunion. Massaging her bare foot, she goes to the more painful stiletto, but it's stuck on her swollen foot.

In burning pain, she can't get relief as she puts pressure on them with her hand. She needs ice, but dreads walking to the other room. Distracted by her feet, she stubs her toe on the table and hops on one barefoot before falling to the couch.
