Katarina is sitting at home thinking about when her and her friends went hunting the Shoe Gnome. She remembers her past experience with the shoe gnome with Arielle and Bliss, and hopes to catch him at some point. Katarina thinks that maybe they made too much noise last time. If she went alone she might be able to catch him. So she heads to the warehouse.
The warehouse is very quiet when she enters wearing a tank top, jeans and her brand new white canvas sneakers. She looks around, there are so many places he can hide. After some searching she trips on one of his traps and falls to the floor. He grabs her foot and she struggles to get free. As she is struggling he starts to tickle her foot. Unfortunately she loses one of her sneakers to the shoe gnome again.
Back at her place she tries to figure out a way to get him. After pacing around for a little while to think, she comes up with a plan. She removes her remaining sneaker and puts another pair of sneakers on. Katarina decides to leave the remaining sneaker somewhere and hides so she can get the jump on the shoe gnome.
Back to the warehouse
Katarina enters the warehouse wearing a brand new pair of sneakers. And carrying the canvas one. She is going to plant it and wait for the Shoe Gnome to come for it. At that point she will surprise him and catch him. She looks for the perfect place to set the shoe. Somewhere that she can hide an wait for the Shoe Gnome.
The plan might have worked. But the shoe gnome finds her and stealthily manages to take one of the sneakers Katarina is currently wearing without being noticed. He then goes around to where the trap is. When shoe gnome then goes for the sneaker Katarina tries to catch the Shoe Gnome. She stands up and realizes one of her sneakers is missing and pauses for a moment.
The shoe gnome tickles Katarina’s socked foot to distract her and manages to get away. Now having lost 3 sneakers to the shoe gnome, Katarina decides to go back to the drawing board. She goes into the office at the warehouse and tries to regroup.
While she’s thinking, the shoe gnome comes back to steal Katarina’s other sneaker and after a little struggle, manages to do so and escape. A shoeless Katarina, now with more experience from the Shoe Gnome, can’t wait to tell Arielle and Bliss what happened to her.
