Anabelle Pync is trying to put on a brave face, but her feet are so sore after a long shift and now she has to cover for someone else. We hear her thoughts as she laments about the tight highly arched heels. She comes and goes with drink orders, but the only thing she wants to do is slip them off, if only for a few seconds.

Tentatively she takes one shoe off and wiggles her toes before begrudgingly putting them back on. In a brazen move, she places her one sole flat on the floor, leaving her other shoe on in case someone walks in.
