He knows her weakness and wraps her lasso around her so that he can get the truth from her about Wonder Velvets weaknesses. With this information he magically controls her so that she will do whatever he says, even if it is against her mentor. He makes her go to rest and when she awakens, she is ready to do his bidding like a mindless slave.

Later, Wonder Candle lures Wonder Velvets into a trap and starts beating her up. Wonder Velvets is surprised and confused why her protege has turned to the bad side, but Wonder Candle gets the upperhand and the Sultan makes her fall resting.The Sultan wraps her magic lasso around her shoulders and discovers that Wonder Velvets is a virgin! He can sell her for a lot more money! He removes her mask and they carry her to the bedroom.

While the Sultan calls his contact, Wonder Candle snaps out of her spell and sees Wonder Velvets in her helpless situation. She ragdolls her body trying to awaken her, but the Sultan is not going to let that happens. He makes Wonder Candle go to rest before she can foil his plans.

Just as he is done with Wonder Candle, Wonder Velvets awakens and starts to escape. He prevents that from happening and makes sure that he has two former superheroines resting in his lair.
