Candle is getting ready for a big date with her boyfriend. She does not realize that a vampire (POV) is watching her from her closet while she primps and poses in front of the mirror. He admires her form as she pretends to see what her boyfriend will be doing with her later in the evening. Just as she finishes putting on her dress, her boyfriend calls with some bad news. It looks like he will have to work late tonight. Unfortunately, Candle does not take the news well and slams the phone on the bed.

Candle is getting ready for a big date with her boyfriend. She does not realize that a vampire (POV) is watching her from her closet while she primps and poses in front of the mirror. He admires her form as she pretends to see what her boyfriend will be doing with her later in the evening. Just as she finishes putting on her dress, her boyfriend calls with some bad news. It looks like he will have to work late tonight. Unfortunately, Candle does not take the news well and slams the phone on the bed.

What is a girl supposed to do when all dressed up and nowhere to go? She grabs a glass filled with ice and sits on her chair debating on what to do. Her legs cross and she dangles one of her shoes off her red toenails. Suddenly the closet door opens and she is startled to see the vampire. Candle is scared and tries to reach for her phone, but trips over the shoe that precariously dangles off her foot. Her hands reach blindly for the phone, but she makes the mistake of looking at the vampire.

Candle is immediately caught in his gaze and freezes. Her eyes widen as she goes into submission. While kneeling, she follows his commands to drop the top of her dress and rub the ice cubes over her nipples. He commands her to lick her fingers and to crawl on the bed. She is ordered to take off her jewelry and put them in her shoe.

Now she is ready to lie on her back and have her neck hang over the edge. She is completely exposed and he goes in for the bite.Time elapses and Candle awakens to her new identity. She sits up, becomes adjusted to having fangs, and calls her boyfriend. In her sweetest voice, she suggests that he come over for a bite to eat.
