Her intentions weren't bad. She only came down into the garage looking for her parents.. although it seems no one is home!
Then, she spots it. The pride & joy of the garage, her dads favorite, she's never been allowed to even sit in the drivers seat. Looking in through the window, the keys are still in it! Checking the time and making sure no one is around, she slips into the seat.
The plan wasn't really to do any more than sit in it and pretend to drive but the call of the keys in the ignition proves too much for her.
