Winter is coming up and very kindly I've offered to start up my brothers old beloved Rover 220 turbo, I can't for the life of me understand why he loves it so much but it's been sat for months now untouched and I don't want to leave it to rot.
I still don't see the appeal when I climb inside but it's not long before I can see which sibling the car prefers... and it's not me!!
After a few cranks the car does start up but boy oh boy does it run rough, I don't ever remember it sounding quite like this. I rev the engine a little bit wondering if it needs to blow out some dust and ...

I still don't see the appeal when I climb inside but it's not long before I can see which sibling the car prefers... and it's not me!!
After a few cranks the car does start up but boy oh boy does it run rough, I don't ever remember it sounding quite like this. I rev the engine a little bit wondering if it needs to blow out some dust and warm up.
Clearly not liking this idea the engine cuts out and won't start up again for me, despite coaxing it's pedals as the car turns over and it's not too long before the cranking turns to a slow, lazy whine...
