Happy new year one and all, let’s hope 2021 is better than the poxy year we’ve just left behind. We have started our new year with a nice genuine cold start clip, due to storage issues over Xmas we actually had to leave the Metro just parked on a random industrial estate in which we do film fairly frequently, the only benefit of this is the car is of course left open to the elements and last night here in the UK was a cold one with temperatures below freezing. So with much of the UK nursing hangovers this morning we popped down to see how long it would take Hayleigh to get the Metro started...

We have started our new year with a nice genuine cold start clip, due to storage issues over Xmas we actually had to leave the Metro just parked on a random industrial estate in which we do film fairly frequently, the only benefit of this is the car is of course left open to the elements and last night here in the UK was a cold one with temperatures below freezing. So with much of the UK nursing hangovers this morning we popped down to see how long it would take Hayleigh to get the Metro started.

To make it interesting Hayleigh didn’t touch the choke and needless to say it made the Metro more than somewhat reluctant to start. What we ended up with was a 10 minute clip in which it struggles to start and then when it does it revs, stalls, misfires, coughs, splutters, etc, etc!

Hayleigh for her part say’s nothing during this clip, she just tries to start it and keep it running. It took a while but it’s a great watch and listen. Filmed from multiple angles, most captured in the preview.
