Melanie’s boss hired a new assistant. Melanie wasn’t concerned, she’s a very competent staff member, much more than just the assistant so when the new girl showed up Melanie didn’t really think anything of it...until. The boss had asked Melanie for some reports, Melanie said she would bring them to him as soon as she finished what she was working on and the boss was fine with that.
