In the case of Prux, her step-dad was hesitant about bringing her into the family business. He didn't want her to have an advantage over anyone else. However, after much pleading and many promises that she "wanted to be treated like everyone else", Prux was given a starting job at the company with no special perks or enhanced wages. What Prux didn't realize when she hired in was that her step-dad had enacted a Progressive Punishment Program some years earlier, and her bottom could end up getting sizzled by the office strap! Prux was doing a commendable job during her first two weeks, everyone seemed to like her, including Jack Weaver. Mr. Weaver had been at the company for several years and now his job was in jeopardy because the break room camera caught him and Prux making out along with other tawdry activities. Prux's step-dad was furious, he stuck his neck out for the girl when he'd hired her and was now feeling a great sense of disappointment. She'd only be given two choices, Prux could be fired on the spot or she too would have to bare her bottom for office punishment!
