While many of the population took their disputes and fights online, big companies sat on the sidelines collecting wealth and gaining a level of power that had never been seen before. One thing lead to another and piece by piece the average citizen found themselves with less freedom than they'd had before, all under the guise of safety, perhaps the oldest trick known to man. Create a problem and then the problem. Few asked why things couldn't be done better and accepted the corruption with open arms, and in turn they were rewarded with a future that paralleled books nearly a century old and full of warning cries. Lana Summers was one of those people who awoke to a world most of us wouldn't recognize today. She lived in a time where thoughts could be a crime. You see, instead of continuing with time honored tradition of coexisting, the establishment used sections of people to further restrict what could and could not be said. As technology advanced in a heinous way, thoughts could then be monitored and those not in full compliance with the standards and practices of the day could be sought out and severely punished for merely thinking outside the tightly restrictive parameters that had been dictated. What you will see is the the tragic day where Lana thought she could walk far enough outside of town to just be free with her thoughts for awhile, though soon enough she was picked up and whisked away. Entire sections of buildings in cities were now used as punishment rooms for such occasions. Lana was told that she would only be given one warning punishment, and then three men proceeded to cane here bare cheeks! For Lana it was a nightmare, creative in spirit and in mind, and now she was being caned by three different men. At one point two of the men were delivering rapid fire cane strokes, one after another! Her bottom was so sore and striped, the girl couldn't believe that strokes of the cane could hurt so much. We will learn the fate of Lana in part two, but rest assured in her future and for her crimes of thinking freely,...she'd be given a double hairbrush spanking, a whipping with a cruel quirt, and she'd certainly take swats from a government issued paddle as well!!!
